Statement by President Jim Thomson

Tuesday, January 29th, 2008 by Kenny

Dear fellow bowlers

Following our on going discussions/meetings with the Social Club Committee regarding the financial position of the Social Club, we are now in a position that a proposal has been put forward to the Bowling Club from the Social Club.  The proposal is that the bowlers take on the full running of the Bowling Club.  Early indications are that it is very favourable to the Bowling Club.

In order for the Bowling Club to ratify this proposal we need the backing/support of the Bowling members as we as our committee.  We therefore ask that you as a member attend our AGM on Wednesday 20th February 2008 at 7pm, so that these proposals can be discussed at length and hopefully accepted.  If you are unable to attend we would hope that you will support any decision we as a committee/bowling club take and we look forward to your continued support.

Yours sincerely

Jim Thomson - President
