MW&D Burgh League - Bellshill & Mossend (home)

Thursday, May 27th, 2010 by Kenny

Our burgh league team played their first home match of the season (3rd game of the campaign) against Bellshill & Mossend on Wednesday 26th May 2010.  On a dry but very chilly night, we managed to win 3 out of the 4 rink matches, thereby obtaining 6 points.

This was another good result and hopefully we can continue our form in the remaining two matches.  If we do, we should be in with a real chance of winning the league!

MW&D Burgh League - Wishaw (away)

Thursday, May 13th, 2010 by Kenny

On a freezing cold May evening, our Burgh league Division 3 campaign kicked off at Wishaw BC.  Wishaw are celebrating their 150th jubilee anniversary this year, however, we managed to overcome their determination and home advantage to record a victory of 5 points to 3 points.

An enjoyable night was had by all, especially due to the hospitality and gifts presented to our players by members of Wishaw BC in their 150th year.
